Time Out With... Tiffany Jackson
Tiffany Jackson was the National Freshman of the year, an All-American and a four-year star at Texas. She was selected in the first round of the 2007 WNBA Draft by the New York Liberty and has successfully made the transition to the pro game, where the Liberty have welcomed her strength and quickness down low.     "Yes, sign language. And yes, I'm fluent."
    What do your parents do?
    "My dad is a social worker and coach. My mom is a probation officer."
    Did you have any other non-basketball influences in your life?
    "My grandmother Shirley Jackson and my aunt Carmen Jackson-Gayle. Both of them are really strong women and helped me develop into the person I am today."
    Who has been a role model for you in basketball?
    "Coach Eugene Watts, my old AAU coach. He and my dad."
